About the product


The product Lifespan Insights sells is the RotationLF. The RotationLF is a sensor which can calculate the accurate lifespan of the rotating parts within your machines, using 5 independent variables to calculate the exact lifespan of the rotating parts. The sensor is a little bigger than an adult human thumb and is connected to the machine using a strong magnet.

Every rotating part within a machine can be evaluated with the sensor. For example:

  • Bearings
  • Drive shafts
  • Rotors
  • Turbines
  • Pumps

As said above the sensor calculates the lifespan by 5 independent variables, the 5 variables the sensor collects consists out of:

  1. Speed (RPM)
  2. Sound
  3. Temperature
  4. Humidity
  5. Vibration

The sensor takes all these variables and makes several calculations via programmed algorithms. Out of these calculations the software will make an easy to read diagram with the exact remaining lifespan of the programmed part. Since the variables can change over time the sensor calculates every once in a while until something changes. If so the sensor will  check on a more frequent basis the condition of the part. When it needs to be changed the software will send a pop-up to the connected mobile devices and desktops. The pop-up will state the current lifespan remaining of the rotating part as well as which part is running out of lifespan.

The rotating parts are the main parts within the machines which can break down. When such an important factor within the machine breaks down you can imagine what the cost can be, due to:

  • Damages
  • Delays
  • Additional production costs
  • Maybe even severe injuries of employees
